Upside Down M
ɯ is an m rotated half a turn, and capital M turns into W.
A small m has two arches. Turned over, the arches become two cups side by side: ɯ, U+026F, Latin Small Letter Turned M. For the capital, the best looking result is simply a W, which is why the generator maps capital W to M and many people type W for an upside down M. A distinct capital exists too, ꟽ (U+A7FD, Latin Epigraphic Letter Inverted M), but it is rare in fonts.

Where you will see ɯ
In the IPA, ɯ writes a close back unrounded vowel, the sound of Japanese u. Online, it is commonly seen in flipped names such as ɯɐɯ and in word art where the lowercase m appears many times. The small ɯ is well supported on phones and laptops.

Should I use W instead of ɯ?
For a capital M, yes: W is plain ASCII and looks the same. For a lowercase m, ɯ looks closer to the original shape than a lowercase w.
