Upside Down D
Turn a d upside down and you get a p. No special character is required.
The bowl of d sits on the lower right and the stem reaches up. After a half turn the bowl is top left and the stem points down, which is the shape of an ordinary p, U+0070. That makes this the most compatible flipped letter on the site: it is plain ASCII, so it survives every font, form field and old text editor. Only the capital has a rare form, ᗡ (U+15E1, a Canadian Syllabics character).

Where you will see p
Because the flipped d is a p, flipped words can read oddly. The word dad comes out as pɐp, and a flipped p gives you d back, so a text that contains both letters swaps them. Writers use it for playful nicknames, and it is the one flipped letter you can type on any keyboard.

Good to know
Do I need to copy the character at all?
No. Since the result is the ordinary letter p, you can simply type it. The copy button is there for consistency with the other pages.
All the flipped letters are listed on the letters page, or type a whole sentence into the upside down text generator.
